Josh Hutcherson was born October 12, 1992 in Union, Kentucky. Josh started auditioning for roles in 2002, after he head a successful screen test. He made his acting debut in the made for television film House Blend in 2002. Josh is homeschooled, and his favorite subject is math (his favorite part of math being algebra.) Josh likes cars, bowling and soccer.
In March of 2008, Josh was awarded a Young Artist Award (for Leading Young Actor) along with AnnaSophia Robb. Josh's latest film is Journey to the Center of the Earth, and he will have two other films in 2008, Winged Creatures and Cirque Du Freak.
